Let us help! Recreation Services offers a number of fitness classes tailored to meet your diverse fitness desires. All fitness classes start the week of January 14th. The deadline to register is January 11th.
Fitness Class Schedule:
- Monday Ki Aikido (12:05-12:50pm)
- Monday Iyvengar Yoga (4:15-5:45pm)
- Monday Cardio Complete (4:15-5:00pm)
- Tuesday Spin (11:05-11:50am)
- Tuesday Dynamic Core (12:05-12:50pm)
- Wednesday Total Body Workout (4:15-5:00pm)
- Thursday Spin (11:05-11:50pm)
- Thursday Dynamic Core (12:05-12:50pm)
- Thursday Iyvengar Yoga (4:15-5:45pm)
- Friday Zumba (12:05-12:50pm)
Fitness Class Costs:
- Iyvengar Yoga is $90 for 10 sessions.
- All other classes are $65 for 10 sessions.
Multiple Class Discount:
- 2 classes receives $20 off!
- 3 classes receives $30 off!
- 4 or more classes receives $40 off!

It’s not too late to register for a RRC Spring fitness class!
RRC Athletics and Recreation Services offers a number of fitness classes for staff and students. We have designed a class for everyone and they are taught by the some of the best and most experienced fitness professionals in Manitoba.
This spring we will be offering Yoga, Rapid Revolution Spin, Zumba, Total Body Workout, Aikido, and Dynamic Core. These classes run at lunch and at the end of the work day at the Notre Dame Campus.
Please note that we have cancelled Tuesday Circuit and Thursday Aikido due to low registration numbers. All other classes will run.
The costs are:
- $40 for Yoga – 5 sessions (90 mins each)
- $30 for all other classes – 5 sessions (45 – 60 mins each)
Register for more than one class and you will receive $10 off your registration!

The deadline for registration for any Red River College winter fitness classes is coming up soon. Like we mentioned in an earlier Wellness blog post, it’s important to find ways to work out and stay active throughout the work day, so why not sign up for a fitness class right here at RRC?
There are several different classes to choose from, including; Zumba, Iyvengar Yoga, Cardio Complete, Circuit, Rapid Revolution Spin Plus, Total Body Workout, Beginner Boxing, and Body Blend.
Each of the classes are being offered at various locations around the Notre Dame campus, and are extremely affordable – ranging from $30 – $100 for 10-12 sessions, depending on which class you choose.
Not sure which class is for you? Check out descriptions, locations, and times for each of the classes by visiting the RRC Athletic and Recreation department website, where you can also download their winter brochure and registration form so you can get started. The registration deadline for winter fitness classes is this Friday, Jan. 20.
If you still want to work out at RRC but aren’t interested in taking classes, there are other fitness programs available too. Recreation services also offers Body Composition Analysis, Fitness Appraisal, and either one-on-one or group training sessions. For more information on those services, click here.
