Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Apprenticeship

Qualify to write the Transport Canada Aviation Regulations (CARs) exam.

AMJ is a Transport Canada-approved partnership program between:

  • Apprenticeship Manitoba
  • an aircraft maintenance provider (the employer)
  • an apprentice (the student)
  • Red River College, Stevenson Campus (the training provider)

As an employed apprentice of an approved AMO, students gain on-the-job training, and for nine weeks per year (10 for the fourth and final year), attend structured training at RRC’s Stevenson Campus.

After four years, students have completed the experience and basic training requirements for a Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence.
