Red River College invites you to our Open House happening February 21-22, 2017. Our goal is to help future students gather the information and knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their future.
By opening our doors and letting the community meet our students and staff, we want visitors to come away with a sense of awareness and confidence about their choices for the future.
Why come to our Open House?
Surveys of post-secondary students across North America show that campus visits are one of the most important factors in their decision-making process. A first-hand look can help you determine your ‘fit’ within the campus and academic programs.
Explore Red River College
With more than 110 full- and part-time programs being represented at our Open House (in the North Gym at the Notre Dame Campus), you’ll be able to talk with knowledgeable instructors and staff about the programs you’re most interested in.
We offer guided tours of our Notre Dame, Exchange (including the Paterson GlobalFoods Institute and student residence), and Stevenson campuses. You can also explore them on your own, too! Many of our programs also open up their classrooms and shops so you can see where you’ll actually be learning when you’re at RRC.
Want to check out a more than one campus? See our transportation options to find out how to get a complimentary ride from campus to campus! Seating is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Many of our programs offer information sessions where they provide you with all the information you need and are a great place for you to ask questions. Most of the presentations are 30 minutes or less and take place in a variety of rooms including lecture theatres, labs and classrooms.
Got questions about how to apply? College staff will be available throughout the Open House to answer questions on applications, special selection criteria, awards and financial aid, and support services. Applications for 2016 programs can be completed and submitted throughout the day at our Student Service Centre.
Our Recruitment Officers are happy to answer any questions you have before coming to the Open House.
