Leadership Forum for Admin Professionals

A survey was conducted in 2013 by the RRC Administrative Assistant Steering Group to explore the training needs of RRC’s approximately 60 administrative professionals. The results, along with guidance from the Steering Group, led to the creation of an in-house program called the Leadership Forum for Administrative Professionals.

Over the past three years, nearly 50 Administrative Assistants at RRC have completed this program, coordinated by Staff Learning and Development, which wrapped up in June 2016.

The forum consisted of five full-day classroom sessions, delivered by an external facilitator, focusing on:

  1. Exploring Leadership
  2. Understanding Yourself & Others – using the DiSC instrument
  3. Working Together – Resolving Differences
  4. Time Management
  5. Knowledge Transfer/Integration – Working Session

The Administrative Assistant Steering Group is refreshing its membership for Fall 2016. The new membership roster will be published as soon as it is finalized.
