RED Forum Sneak Peek – Introducing this year’s Keynote Speaker

April 7, 2017

Red River College is thrilled to host Winnipeg’s own David Zinger as our Keynote Speaker at the second annual RED Forum being held on Friday, May 12, 2017.

David Zinger connects the strength of one with the power of many as an engagement speaker, coach, and consultant. He founded and hosts the global 7080 member Employee Engagement Network and fuses his down-to-earth prairie upbringing with a global reach. He has worked on engagement in Canada, United States, Poland, Wales, Turkey, Qatar, Germany, UAE, England, India, Spain, Singapore, and South Africa.

David has met with several staff members at Red River College so he could be immersed on what our College stands for and how to make his Keynote Address most meaningful. He focuses on how Employee engagement is all about the ABC’s of work: Achieve results. Build relationships. Cultivate wellbeing. He defines this in eight words: good work done well with others every day. He wants to invite employees to stop thinking about engagement as a noun and view it as a verb – engage – requiring engaging actions every day.

David is a prolific author who has written four books on leadership, work, and engagement. He has also co-created 10 exceptional free employee engagement e-Books in conjunction with the Employee Engagement Network.

David knows work and organizations from the inside out. He worked 15 years as the employee assistance counselor and career development coach at Seagram, Ltd. This plant site was the global maker of Crown Royal and David was instrumental in fostering personal and career engagement for this organization.

This dynamic keynote will help you give your best to your work and the college while also getting the most from your work and full engagement.
