Club Days!

January 6, 2017 • Written by

RRCSA Club Days are Now Here!

Club days are next week! Come check out and join on of the many Clubs that we have to offer here at RRC! Or, if none of them interest you, then feel free to create your own club. You only need 8 or more students to create one. Once your club is created you are able to fundraiser or even book our spaces to plan and operate your actives or events. This is also a great way to try something new and create new friendships.

Also Red River College Staff, don’t shy away from this event! If there is an interest based club that you are excited about, you are more than welcome to join as staff contact.

Club Days at EDC is on January 10th in the Atrium

Club Days at NDC is on January 11th in the Library hallway

RRCSA New Student Executive Team for 2016 to 2017: Lindsay Rowan, Nakita Bola, Calvary deJong, Adam Taplin

Welcome new and returning students!!

The executives for the 2016-17 school year welcome you and hope you are ready for a great year of learning, and wish you the best in your upcoming studies. Nothing is more important than the great education you will get here at Red River but for all the other stuff we are here to help.

Here at the Students’ Association we provide some of the services you the students need to make life a little simpler. It is our goal to represent students of their opinions, their rights, and whatever is most important to them. We do this by advocating on your behalf meeting with and sitting on committees of the college to ensure the student voice is not overlooked. We meet with MP’s, MLA’s and civic politicians to discuss the matters most important to students and what they can and should be doing to make our lives better.

Have we put you to sleep yet? We hope not but it’s not just about meetings and discussions, we are also here to make sure you have a little fun and don’t completely burn out and maybe make a new friend. We plan fun events like keggers, glow bowling, poker tournaments, whatever you need to have a good time. We also provide support and services that make your life easier, things like advice for academic appeals, and how to best fill out the form. You have a health and dental plan that is amazing, this agenda to organize your life the Projector paper gives us an extra voice as it’s done entirely by students. The couches you sit on, the tv’s you watch, the games you play and the shops you buy goodies from, and of course all the pretty free money in scholarships, all Students’ Association services just for you.

Come be a part of the action, join the Students’ Association Board, be a class rep, volunteer or just come to an event. We are here for you and we ask you take full advantage of who we are and what we do. We have an open door policy so come by our offices anytime or download our APP on your smart phone to see what we’re up too:
