I.T. Solutions will be performing network equipment upgrades limited to D BUILDING in NDC, the details are as follows:

Systems shutdown Friday October 14, 2016

Due to required upgrades to the College’s student information system, WebAdvisor, including the  online payment option, will not be available from Friday, October 14,  2016 at 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, October 16, 2016 LEARN,  etc.  will still be available during this time.

The Roblin Centre will be closed on October 11

sorrywereclosedRed River College’s Roblin Centre will be closed on Tuesday, October 11 in order to allow for necessary work to the water main adjacent to the campus.

During that time the water will be shut-off and for the health and safety reasons classes will be cancelled and the campus will be closed to the general public.

Regular operations are expected to resume on Wednesday, October 12.

Red River College has been advised that this outage will not affect the adjacent RRC properties located in the Exchange District.

Classes, programs, and services offered at the Massey Building and the Paterson GlobalFoods Institute will carry-on as scheduled.

College Internet Connection Maintenance

Information Technology Solutions will be performing equipment and network maintenance to the College internet connection. This work will be completed on Friday, July 8th. Work will begin at 5:00pm and should be completed by 7:00pm.
During this maintenance window there will be interruptions to internet resources from within the College and access to College hosted resources from the internet.

Important information in the event of a Canada Post disruption

Red River College has been closely monitoring the potential for a Canada Post strike or lockout, which could occur as early as July 2, 2016.

Since sending and receiving mail will not be available in the event of a strike, Red River College will not be able to mail out communications related to application and registration status, program information packages or other information related to document requests (incoming or outgoing). Applicants and Year 1 Term 1 Student Registration information will be emailed to individual’s home email address. Year 1 Term 2, and Years 2, 3 and 4 Student Registration information will be emailed to your academic@ email address. Student email is accessible via HUB. Students should also check their RRC User Accounts (applicants should check their Recruiter accounts for application status information and accepted/registered students should check their Webadvisor and RRC HUB accounts for registration and fee payment requirements as well as timetable information.

Your User ID and default password were provided to you in either a WebAdvisor explanation letter or an online course registration confirmation e-mail. If you no longer have your letter or email and would like to retrieve your user Id or reset your password in order to access information via WebAdvisor or RRC HUB:

  • Visit RRC User Account and click on “Change Password” or “What’s My User Name/Password”.
  • For “What’s My User Name/Password” enter your name and Student number PLUS a valid Social Insurance Number or Birth Date and Postal code.
  • Record your user name (also called User Id).
  • If you are resetting your password via email, check that the email address we have on file for you is valid before pressing “Next” to send it.

You’re invited to visit one of our Student Service Centres (Notre Dame or Exchange District Campuses) during regular business hours should you require transcripts, confirmation of enrolment, or other information that you may not be able to obtain through your RRC User Accounts (Recruiter, WebAdvisor and RRC HUB).

Continuing Education did strive  to meet Canada Post’s deadline of June 29, 2016 to have the course packages for upcoming courses shipped out to students however, if a strike or lockout does occur, there still may be a disruption. Continuing Education students requiring course packs for their program, and/or at 204-694-1789, Toll-Free at 1-866-242-7073 or visit Room FM28 at the Notre Dame Campus to pick-up your course pack and course information in person. If you do not receive your course pack by July 8th 2016, please visit FM28, Notre Dame Campus to pick-up your package or contact us immediately.

If you are unable to attend RRC’s Notre Dame Campus in person, please contact Continuing Education at 204-694-1789 or Toll-Free at 1-866-242-7073 and they will be more than happy to assist you to ensure you receive your course information in a timely manner.
