Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process that involves the identification, documentation, assessment and recognition of formal study and non-formal learning acquired through work and life experience.
To learn about RPL processes at RRC please attend the next RPL Orientation on Thursday May 1st from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Building A room 137 at RRC’s Notre Dame Campus). The RPL Orientation will outline the approaches used at RRC for assessing prior learning equivalent to the learning outcomes in College courses.
Convocation ceremonies will be held at the Centennial Concert Hall, 555 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba Tuesday June 3 and Wednesday June 4 2014

All Graduates and students eligible to graduate at the Spring Convocation will
receive emails with information regarding the ceremonies 8-12 weeks prior to the
Convocation dates. Please access your WebAdvisor account to update your
preferred email address.
Application to Graduate – deadline to apply is May 2, 2014
All students (excluding apprenticeship students) who will have completed their program graduation requirements by May 2, 2014 must submit an Application to Graduate form. Please complete the Application to Graduate form and submit it to one of the offices listed on the form no later than May 2, 2014 to be considered for inclusion in the Spring 2014 Convocation ceremonies. Application forms are available in the Student Service Centres at EDC (P104) and NDC (D101), CE Office (C116), Registrar’s Office (D105), and on the website at www.rrc.ca/convocation
The College’s IT department will be performing maintenance on the main College
internet connection on the following dates:
- Friday March 21, beginning at 5:00PM and continuing to 7:00PM
- Monday March 24 beginning at 5:00PM and continuing to 6:00PM
- Wednesday March 26 beginning at 5:00PM and continuing to 6:00PM
During these maintenance windows there will be interruptions to internet resources from within the College and access to College hosted resources from the internet, including WebAdvisor, LEARN, Portal.
For income tax purposes, T2202A tax receipts will be available through your WebAdvisor account at the end of February 2014 for the 2013 calendar year. T2202As are only available online and are not mailed out by the College.

Both Student Service Centres will be closed Thursday, February 13 all day for staff development. Both offices will reopen Friday February 14 at 9 a.m.
All Enrolment Services locations will be closed the afternoon of Friday, December 13.
- Student Service Centre – P104 Exchange District Campus will close at 11:30 a.m.
- Student Service Centre – D101 and Phone Centre Notre Dame Campus will close at 12:00 p.m.
- Registrar’s Office – D105 Notre Dame Campus will close at 12:30 p.m.
All locations will re-open Monday, December 16 at 8:00 a.m.
Due to required upgrades to the College’s student information system, WebAdvisor, including the online payment option, will not be available from Friday, Dec. 13/13 6 pm to Saturday, Dec. 14/13 6 pm.
To provide our customers with improved services the Student Service Centres hours will be adjusted. Effective November 18/13 the new hours will be as follows:
- NDC – Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 5:30 pm Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
- EDC – Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
