WIRELESS NETWORK UPGRADE AT THE ROBLIN CENTRE

I.T. Solutions will be performing wireless network upgrades at The Roblin Centre from Friday, August 25, 2017 to Friday, September 1, 2017.

These upgrades will result in intermittent loss of wireless network coverage in specific areas at The Roblin Centre as hardware is replaced.

I.T. Solutions will be performing network equipment maintenance limited to the following locations in The Roblin Centre; the details are as follows:

ADELAIDE BUILDING:

  •    Date work will be done: Monday, August 14, 2017
  •    Start Time: 04:00 PM
  •    Duration of the outage: intermittent outage from 4 PM to 6 PM.
  •    The affected areas will be ADELAIDE BUILDING EDC.

WILLIAM BUILDING:

  •    Date work will be done: Tuesday, August 15, 2017
  •    Start Time: 04:00 PM
  •    Duration of the outage: intermittent outage from 4 PM to 7 PM.
  •    The affected areas will be WILLIAM BUILDING EDC.

  WILLIAM BUILDING:

  •    Date work will be done: Wednesday, August 16, 2017
  •    Start Time: 04:00 PM
  •    Duration of the outage: intermittent outage from 4 PM to 8 PM.
  •    The affected areas will be WILLIAM BUILDING EDC.

PRINCESS BUILDING:

  •    Date work will be done: Thursday, August 17, 2017
  •    Start Time: 04:00 PM
  •    Duration of the outage: intermittent outage from 4 PM to 7 PM.
  •    The affected areas will be PRINCESS BUILDING EDC.

The outage will result in no phone service, no internet services, no access to shared drives, and no wireless in the affected areas.

Enrolment Services Office Closure Wednesday, June 14th, 2017

The following Enrolment Services Offices will be closed Wednesday, June 14th, 2017 for staff development.

  • Student Service Centre Centre – D101 Notre Dame Campus
  • Registrar’s Office – D105 Notre Dame Campus
  • Student Service Centre – P104 Exchange District Campus

Students can visit the Continuing Education Office (C116) between the hours of 8:00 and 4:00 for assistance. However, staff in that office are only able to accept debit, credit card, or cheque payments. Students wishing to pay with cash can visit the Controller’s Office in C212 between 8:00 and 4:00 (closed for lunch 11:30-1:00).

All offices will reopen on Thursday, June 15th, 2017 at 8:00 a.m.

Network Maintenance Notice – Wireless Network Outage at Exchange District Campus

Information Technology Solutions will be performing network upgrades to wireless networks located at the Exchange District Campus on Friday, May 5th, 2017.

The work will begin at 10:00pm and should be done by 11:00pm. There will be no wireless access during this time.

Due to required upgrades to the College’s student information system, WebAdvisor, including the  online payment option, will not be available from Friday, October 14,  2016 at 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, October 16, 2016 LEARN,  etc.  will still be available during this time.
