Tryout for the Rebels

August 22, 2013

Sport is — and always has been — a part of your life. You’ve dedicated countless hours to practicing, improving and being part of a team. At Red River College, we value this dedication and understand the same effort you put into your game also plays a role in your success in the classroom.

As you begin your post-secondary education, you can prolong that passion by being part of the Red River College Rebels as we compete in the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference. Our women’s and men’s teams play home and away games with colleges throughout Manitoba. The success of our varsity teams is dependent on you, the student-athlete.

Being a part of the Rebels is about giving you a complete student experience as you take part in your studies. It’s about the thrill of competition, the pride of pulling on a jersey, and the friendships that will last a lifetime.

If you’re interested in pulling on our jersey and being a Rebel, then we want to see you out at one of our upcoming tryouts, which are open to all RRC students.

Committed to sharing his passion for the sport of soccer, and to provide opportunities to children in need, Goetting will be traveling to Kenya in 2014 to develop a soccer program for an orphanage.
