Accepted Students

Congratulations on getting accepted to Red River College! There are a number of things you should do to ensure a smooth transition to RRC and Manitoba.

PRE-ARRIVAL

Read the Welcome to Red River College – Important International Student Information Brochure.

Step 2: Learn about being an international student at RRC

Read the Red River College International Student Pre-Arrival Handbook.

Step 3: Make your accommodation arrangements prior to entering Canada

Accommodation arrangements are your responsibility and should be made directly with a service provider. Please see your Winnipeg Accommodation Guide for information on housing options.

Step 4: Book your flight in advance

Many overseas flights fill quickly for August and December departures. Please ensure that you arrive at least one month prior to your program start date. This will facilitate a smoother transition into a new environment and allow sufficient time for LINKS seminar, and orientation.

Step 5: Airport pickups

Airport pick up is provided by the College, once you purchase your airfare. If you require this service, fill the request and email international@rrc.ca

Step 6: Tuition payments

Additional tuition payments can be made in advance to the College for visa approval purposes, or before you depart for Canada. Please review the accepted payment methods.

Step 7: Book your appointment for a “Connect with Us” session with the International Education Office.

If you have not already done so, you are required to submit all original academic documents, a copy of study permit and co-op work permit and update your personal contact information.
