As the province’s largest institution of applied learning, RRC is the leading source of skilled graduates that drive our economy – and a trusted partner to business and government. With a strategic plan firmly in place, the College is transforming into one of North America’s leading institutes of applied learning and research.
Manitoba’s demand for skilled professionals, tradespeople, and apprentices has never been greater. To address looming skilled labour shortages, Red River College has expanded its ability to educate students via the development of the Paterson GlobalFoods Institute.
This campaign is one of the largest fundraising ventures in the College’s history; each year, Red River College delivers hundreds of skilled professionals to industry. Support of initiatives like this ensures RRC can provide unparalleled learning opportunities in high-demand, high need sectors.
The Paterson GlobalFoods Institute’s 49,500 square feet of instructional space offers opportunities for food research, whether it be through developing and testing new product, refining manufacturing and storage processes, or improving taste and quality. It is also the site of the College’s first student residence, which brings student vibrancy to Winnipeg’s historic Exchange District.
If you are interested in supporting the Paterson GlobalFoods Institute or if you would like to learn more about the opportunities available, please contact Jakee Werbuk, Development Officer at 204.632.2086 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
