Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App

The following tutorial is for Mac and Windows users.

Essentials for Adobe Installation

  • To use your Red River College Adobe subscription you must use your college email address and password when signing into Adobe.
  • Your college email address looks like: username@academic.rrc.ca 
  • You will need to have your personal laptop admin password to complete this installation.
How to install the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App
  1. Go to: Adobe Creative Cloud
  2. Select the Download button below: Creative Cloud Quick desktop access to Creative Cloud apps and services.

  3. Navigate to your downloads folder and double-click Creative_Cloud_Installer.dmg and follow the instructions for installation. You will be prompted for your laptop password.
  4. The Install Creative Cloud dialogue box will appear, select Sign In.
  5. Enter your college email address, and when prompted to choose an account select Enterprise ID.

  6. A dialogue will appear called Enterprise ID Sign in. Enter your college email address
    and password.

  7. When the Creative Cloud Installer window appears select Start Installing.
  8. Once the installation of the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App is complete you can begin to install any Adobe application by selecting Install beside its name.

  • You can install and use your Adobe subscription on one additional computer. If you try to use the subscription on more than two computers at a time you will be prompted to log out of your Adobe subscription on the other computers.
  • Ensure you install all of the Adobe applications listed in your software email that are required for your courses. Feel free to install any additional applications available within the Adobe Desktop App.
If You Already Have the Adobe CC Desktop App Installed

There is no need to uninstall, just log out of your personal Adobe account:

  1. Click on the user icon in the top right corner of the Creative Cloud Desktop App and click Sign Out.

  2. Within the Desktop App window enter your college email address, and when prompted to choose an account select Enterprise ID.

  3. A pop-up window will appear called Enterprise ID Sign in. Enter your college email address and password.
