Program Overview

Red River College and Accessibility Services understands that beginning a college program can be an exciting and also challenging time, in a new environment with many fresh experiences waiting around the corner. To encourage a strong start, we are offering a free preparatory program for incoming students identifying with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

We call this program START STRONG!

This program is run in a group learning environment, and includes role playing, interactive discussions and following PowerPoint slides.

Participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Aged 17 years and older
  • Have and are aware of their ASD diagnosis
  • Self-motivated
  • Preparing for entrance into Red River College in the 2018-2019 academic year 

Information Evening:

Tuesday, June 12th, 2018 at the Notre Dame Campus
7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
